Our Fit Testing Prices have to increase. Over the years, Freebird Safety Services has worked hard to keep pricing as low and accessible as possible for our clients. However, due to ongoing increases in supplier costs, fuel expenses, and operational overhead, we are no longer able to maintain previous pricing structures. As a result, our rates have been adjusted to ensure we can continue providing reliable, compliant, and high-quality on-site fit testing services. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Service Overview
On-site respirator fit testing is provided for construction, industrial, health services workers, students, and more for workplace safety compliance. Services are delivered directly at your job site to reduce downtime and improve worker availability.
All testing includes required documentation and records for compliance purposes. Including a laminated wallet card. Original forms being filled out by workers are retained by the fit tester for record keeping and confirmation if required by WorkSafe BC. . however, pdf copies can be emailed to clients, workers, or any other bodies requiring said docs by contract. We encourage all those who recieve respirator fit testing to also retain a pdf or jpg on their phones incased a lost card occurs.
Pricing
Minimum Site Visit Fee
$150 minimum per visit (includes* up to 2 workers)
This base fee applies to all site visits regardless of location within the standard service area.
Additional Workers
- $45 per additional worker (same site, same visit)
Travel / Service Area
The standard service area is based from 58 Avenue & Bradner Road, Abbotsford, BC.
- Travel within this area: Included radius of 10Km (Normal Surface Road Travel, not a direct line)
- Travel beyond this area: $25 fuel surcharge
This surcharge applies once per visit for locations outside the standard service radius of 10km.
Fit Test Scheduling Notes
- Sites should be prepared and ready upon arrival
- Group bookings are strongly encouraged to reduce overall cost per worker
- Larger groups may qualify for more efficient scheduling blocks

Payment Terms
- Payment due upon completion of service
- E-transfer or approved business payment methods accepted and reduce 5% service charges for credit cards.
- Invoicing marked as paid when payment is accepted
Service Efficiency
Group testing significantly reduces per-worker cost and improves scheduling efficiency. Employers are encouraged to coordinate multiple workers per visit where possible.
Out of Town Prices
Because of the high expertise of this company, 'Out of Town" requests have been asked of us. Meaning, meaning some companies are willing to pay for us to come to them in areas further then our normal business area. Not only do we not have any issue with that, we are completely flattered for such a request.
Yet with that being said, depending on the distance needed to travel some additional charges would apply:
- a cost per KM traveled is based on current fuel pricing. at or below $2.00 a liter, 60 cents a km will be added after the 50km mark. Pre communicated with you and confirmed by Google maps traveling distance.
- If by chance the distance is so great that a turnaround after the service is completed could pose a great chance of a incident occurring do to driver fatigue. overnight accommodations will need to be arranged as well.
These are by no means set in stone. Depending on the vast amount of workers requiring respirator Fit Testing, we are fully open to discussing options. It's always beneficial for everybody, especially the purchasing companies to group as many workers at the same time all in one place for a Fit testing service.
